Imagine waking up among the treetops, birds singing and the trickling of the stream just outside your window.
Trekronå is 2 treetop cabins located at Ogna, the southern part of Jæren. These modern cabins have everything you need to survive a night in the forest, cooking stations, a bathroom with shower, 3 beds and a small balcony. Not to mention large windows to truly bring in the environment around you.
The idea of the cabins was born during the first lockdown of Covid-19 in 2020 and was finished in the spring of 2021. Today you’ll also find a mini spa, a deck for yoga or other outdoor activities and a yard with a hammock.

How to get there?
By car:
There is a free parking spot for guests at Trekronå near the golf course. From there it’s a 10-15 minute walk into the forest to get to the cabins.
By train:
To get to Trekronå by train you will want to catch a train and get off at the station Ogna. From there it’s about a 30-minute walk to get to the cabins.
Thing to do in the area
Beaches and surf:
There are a number of white sand beaches along the coastline of Jæren that is worth visiting. The closest to the cabins are the beaches of Ogna. Many of these beaches are also good for surfing. One of the most popular surf destinations is Bore, located further north. Sign up for surf classes or rent equipment for an amazing experience!
Hikes and bike trails:
There are several hiking trails around the cabins, both in the forest where they are located or in nearby areas. Nordsjøveien is also a beautiful road to cycle.
Golf:
The cabins are located close to a golf course if you want to try your luck at the 9-hole course.
