About Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park is located in the northern part of Botswana and is known for having the largest herds of elephants in the world. Elephants and buffalos converge along the banks of the Chobe River during the dry months. Lions, antelopes and hippos roam the woodlands and the lagoons and the grassland is home to large herds of migrating zebras. Rated as one of the top safari destinations in the world Chobe National Park has rich wildlife.
The Chobe River Sunset Cruise
Going on a Sunset River Cruise through Chobe National Park and witnessing the vibrant wildlife along the banks is an amazing way to experience this region of Africa. Elephants and buffalos tend to come down to the river to have a drink and eat the sweet grass on the islands in the river which makes the Chobe river sunset cruise a perfect way to get up close to these majestic creatures and get some amazing camera shots with a beautiful backdrop. You’ll also find plenty of wildlife along the bank of the river. Hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun, antelopes and zebras having a drink and if you’re lucky you might even spot a lion!
